Little Purchase

So today I just popped into town.

I bought this amazing dress from Topshop which was a right bargain!

It was £20 but with student discount, I got it for £18
I LOVE the burgundy colour, the earthy tones are huge for Autumn so I just had to get it ;)

I also bought the famous chocolate bronzer from Bourjois for £6.99

The first photograph is of what I am wearing today. Everything is from my mums! The shorts were my mums from years ago, and so was the top! Its just a crochet white top :)

I am so sorry I haven't been "blogging" lately! I have neglected this part of my life!

Photography - Summer

So, basically for my photography project, I'm working on facial expressions and body language. I have taken photographs of different people, in different surroundings, to express different  personalities. For this photoshoot, I took photographs of Hannah (HannahSmith1994 on Youtube) as she has a very summery look about her, wavey blonde hair and she wears bright colours very well!

So I just took some photographs of her in a field, just very carefree and happy!

Marilyn Monroe

So, I have been looking at photograph's of Marilyn Monroe for my photography work. I found these really gorgeous, natural images of her and I just LOVE them!

It shows such a different side to Marilyn, away from Hollywood and all the glamour.

I found this comment on the photograph of Marilyn and the flower. It's so true.

The beauty of the art of photography is that she appears to be lost in nostalgia, as if she could remember what it was like to be a little girl. A simpler time, when there were no affairs with Presidents, no jumping out of cakes, no flashes of lights and big posters.

Perhaps she remembers a time when a single flower would have been enough to make her smile, but now, it only has the power to make her remember a time that's been lost.

So I know this is very random, but I thought you may like these photographs.

Also, I love Marilyn and wish celebrities/people could still be like her! Glamorous, classy, beautiful inside and out.

We didn't know much about her which I think created a more interesting atmosphere around her with was very intriguing.

Using the BeautyUK palette in number 2!

So I recently got sent some products from BeautyUK. I have loved this brand for ages and I have purchased many of the palettes and blushes before. I was so thrilled to review their products!

The eyeliner, £3.49  - Has great staying ability, the colour is gorgeous and the metallic edge is amazing!
I love how the applicator is firm so makes it SO easy to apply. However the liquid does separate if you do one long stroke, however if you do small strokes to apply, this won't happen!

The liplust, £2.99 - I love the liplust, the colour is very wearable and pretty. It isn't sticky and stays on for a long time.


I had a great experience with this company, very very helpful and just lovely!
Definitely worth taking a look at the BeautyUK stand in your local superdrug and checking out the products!

That candle holder is amazing! It's so "shabby chic" and I'm very accident prone, so safety with candles is always a good thing ;)

My lips are SO small.. 

Hahahaha this cracked me up. I adjusted the setting and it gave me red/orange hair... Had to put it in, I look ridiculous! 

I love this cute dress. I bought it for my sister for Christmas but it was too short for her... so me being a short ass got it yay :) It is from New Look.

So this weekend was mostly spent with Family!

Well actually it all was, starting with Friday where my cousin came round to stay the night. We had domino's pizza.. yum! And just chilled out really :)

Saturday I saw my sister, her boyfriend, my dad, and his girlfriend! Confused? Stay with me ;)

We went to my favourite Curry house to celebrate dad's birthday (which technically is Monday) and is my dad's favourite curry house too haha.

Then we were very traditional and played a board game, which was actually very fun! We watched a bit of T.V as well, but nothing too interesting.

Then today (sunday) we went for another meal, but this time we have a few extra people joining us, my dad's girlfriend (basically my step mum) daughter, so my step sister, her boyfriend, and their two children, Harry and Lily, who are bloody gorgeous!

Harry is only a few weeks old and Lily is 3 :) Lily call's me Auntie Fay :)

So all in all it's been a great weekend to be honest :) The weather was also really really nice.

Can't believe it's bloody 8:15! Hate it when the clocks change, confuses me no end haha.

What a girl wants, what a girl needs.. (but can't have)

In the words of Christina "what a girl wants, what a girl needs" except I can't have anything.

Unlike Christina who I assume can buy anything she wants... I am on a budget and sadly have more important things to pay for (I didn't say that) than clothes and makeup.

I have to be responsible with my money blah blah..

But I couldn't resist scrolling through my favourite clothing websites and picking out amazing items that I would just love to have... quite sadly really haha.

BUT for those who can afford these lovely items,I hope I've given you some idea's on some really "bang on trend" pieces of clothing!

Btw quick note, have you have been enjoying my blog and want me to continue!

Eyes - New "17" Mascara

Okay, so listen up people, I LOVE this Mascara!

My mum picked it up for me, just because I was complaining about my Natural collection big fake lash effect mascara (what a mouthful!) as it was good, but dried up SO quickly!!

So, I have never tried anything from "17" but after using this, I was so impressed so will probably branch out to more of their products without a doubt!

You can purchase it at Boots for £4.46 (bargain!)

You can build up the coats of mascara, it doesn't clump and separates the lashes beautifully!

I know I'm totally gushing about this mascara, but I'm just so happy I found the perfect Mascara, and I hope if you try it, you like it as much as I do!

Also, it's waterproof which is a bonus!
